O Happy Day

Hello All,

One down, one to go. If you don't know what I'm talking about (climb out from under that rock) Saddam has been captured. Alive. No, I'm serious, he's still breathing. That's right, I didn't catch him and that's probably why the tyrant-prick-waste-of-human-life is still breathing. Of course killing him would make him a martyr, but I REALLY don't like this place and I blame him for being here.

In other news the wacko's with car bombs, IED's and AK-47's are still running around and making trouble. I admire an opponent that doesn't quit. Hell, who didn't respect Cool Hand Luke when he was taking that monster beating and refused to stay down? This, however, is getting stupid.

Dear Terrorists,

Your leader (you know, the guy that wants you to go out in a blaze of glory and gunfire) begged for his life and didn't even fight back. Are you sure that you want to follow this pussy? He was hiding in hole with more money than you will EVER see, so much like a rat, but he wants you to do his dirty work. Sounds a bit like a coward to me. How about you put down your weapons and consider that maybe he is full of crap and we are actually trying to help you people out?

Sincerly,
American Common Sense

I doubt that this message will get thru to the fools that are making trouble, but it's worth a shot.

I love you all,

Will

Hip, hip, hoorrayyy!!! I was wondering if we'd hear from you today! Congratulations to one and all!! I agree with you though, it is too bad he didn't try and fight, we all know where he'd be right now if he had!!

The assholes still cowardly fighting using faceless car bombs and the like will run out of steam soon I am sure!

Thank you for all that you do Will! Our thoughts and prayers remain with you!

You would think that they would all get the message when their "leader" is found in a hidey hole he can't even sit up in, with a handgun he's too afraid to use and a bucket-o-money facing a grenade and saying he wants to negotiate (personally thought that was the funniest bit). Well let everyone there know that everyone else in the world is hoping this means you can all come home soon and stop playing babysitter to a bunch of ingrates.

I'm with you Will, this is a very happy time. A wonderful gift for the holidays!! But I have to give credit where credit is due and that's to you Will and all the other armed forces members who believe in the USA and moan and groan but stick it out till the end. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. All of you!!!
Now let's go get that other idiot!!

Go Go USA!!!

Yes. Exactly. B.S. by the way that you didn't catch him--every soldier did--one and all, you all helped.

Thanks for that one and all the others.

I think they should split that reward money between all the deployed soldiers. What do you think. Let's take a vote.

Posted by: Katherine on December 15, 2003 06:38 PM

I'm in agreement with Katherine.
Thank each & everyone of you for what you are doing. If it wasn't for the Army he would still be down in that rat hole. Guess he don't want his 7 virgin's, or he would have went out in a blaze like his stupid son's did.
All my best to you & your guy's. My grandson is still over their in Mousel. Or however you spell that stupid name.

All my best to you, Goo Luck be with you from those cowards.

My hats off to all our people serving in Iraq! You all are doing an outstanding job! I like your letter Will. Unfortunately I doubt common sense is in abundance with terrorists! But a great idea! Take care and continue to stay safe! God Bless You All!

Posted by: Annette on December 15, 2003 07:25 PM

Hey Will!

I was worried about you. Glad to know everything is ok. Did you see what Saddam said when they uncovered him?

"My name is Saddam Hussein," the fallen Iraqi leader told U.S. troops in English as they pulled him out of a dank hole that had become his home. "I am the president of Iraq and I want to negotiate."

U.S. Special Forces replied: "Regards from President Bush."

Hooah!

Terrorist aren't really fighting for a cause - they kill and blow things up because they are stupid, radical, "can't do anything else" POS (see pieces of shit).

Keep your head down Will!

"Crawl out from under that rock" - pretty darn ironic given the situation.
Saw that quote IRA and laughed my ass off. Also hear reports of some of the Iraqis they are talking to that are stunned and ashamed of what a pussy their supposed leader is.
I just hope this doesn't stir up too much trouble your way Will so keep your head down buddy!
Y'all should be proud of what you have contributed to the capture of this madman and I thank God for each of you - and also thank God you didn't find him cuz there would have been a big "oops" there if you had :)
More snow here today. I'm outie in 5 days and can't wait. Probably can't send a postcard with naked ladies on it to you there huh? I'll hold on to it until you get back.
Stay safe my friend.

Hi Will,
I was so, so happy when I heard that Saddam Hussein was captured! I still have hope (maybe naive) that things will calm down over there to the point where they can start sending you guys home en masse.
I really like your letter. Especially the "American Common Sense" part. I mean really, these people should know by now that you guys are over there to help them. Some people will never get it, though. Saddam Hussein is a mega pussy, and I hope he is turned over to an Iraqi tribunal, and they torture and kill him. God bless all of you guys serving over there. I hope you all can come home soon. Our prayers are with you all. Hang in there and stay safe.

Looks like things are starting to look up over there - that is GREAT. Maybe now the people of Iraq will wake up that we're doing more for them than Saddam ever did - good luck to all servicemen trying to help them back up on their feet and I hope all you guys come back home safe when its over!!!

Posted by: Bert from Omaha on December 15, 2003 11:08 PM

Hope this means you get to come back sooner! We're sick of having our soldiers away from home--though we are very proud of what you do each and every day.

I can't say out loud what I wish they would do to Saddam...

We miss you all, keep up the good work, remember you're a big part of the whole picture.

Happy Holidays from the US!

Great work guys!! (That means everyone of you over their! It could not have been in my thoughts a better way to find him. All rats live in holes!! Yes, his so called people should get the Big Pictures now. Your so called fearless leader hiding in a whole while his people are dead and dying for him. Again a great holiday present. Now for the other big snake in the grass. Go get him boys!! I'm sure he is hiding in a bigger hole. Just keep your head down it's not safe yet and I hope maybe some day they realize what you have done for their country!!
Happy Holidays!! Take Care!!

Saddam has to be the biggest coward on the face of this earth. They should've stood him on the edge of his 'spider-hole' and executed him the way he had thousands of Iraqis executed and dumped into mass graves.

Congratulations to all of our soldiers on capturing the head bad-guy. Hopefully this will speed up the process of getting you all back home safe and sound.

Take care, Will.

Will,
I have been reading your blog for the longest time. Thank you for giving me an honest opinion and a greater understanding of what it is like for you guys over there. Your candid views make it easier to know what is going on when my DH calls me from over there. (since we do not get to talk much) Todays entry made a helluva' lot of sense! I hope those fools will finally figure it out! Happy Holidays! Try to stay safe.

My Dearest Will,

You are my man ~ Calling a spade a spade! Baby, everyone there plays a vital part as far as I am concerned. And we here at home are picking up the tab. Long as we keep in mind that "all gave some, some gave all."

Here is my christmas card to you and your soldiers: Here is to the end of the reign of Ho Ho Hussein and his reindeer games!

Who's Will Anyway?
What's All This Then?
As most of the regular readers of Rooba.net know, I have a few friends that have been sent or called up for the soon-to-be-conflict in Iraq. One such friend is Will aka Will not weasel or Will from Omaha or whatever other moniker he's using on my site that day.

Will is a pretty good writer and this is the collection of his writings. It'll be interesting to hear updates from a soldier's point of view, so I'll be posting them for all to read.

Take care Will
